Hello, welcome and thank you for your interest in my work!

If you have a question that is not addressed below, please contact me through my contact form, or direct message me on my social media.

Payment & Shipping

  • Full payment is required before a painting is shipped.

I accept secure payments via Square processing for AMEX, MC, Visa, Google Pay and Apple Pay through my website or via invoice by email.

If you are unsure, please contact me.

  • I do! I want you to be able to enjoy my artwork. If you would like to pay in installments please contact me directly and I will work with you to arrange that. Once the installments are paid the art will be available for pickup or shipping.

  • I offer shipping via Canada Post, UPS or Purolator depending on where you are located and the size of the package. Shipping costs are not included in the price of the painting. Additional shipping costs will be invoiced to you separately and I'm happy to provide an estimate prior to your purchase. For studio pickup or local area drop off please contact me directly to make arrangements.

  • I want you to be completely happy with your artwork. If for some reason, there is damage to your painting during shipping contact me immediately.

For original painting purchases (excluding commissions) if you receive it in good condition but you are not satisfied with it you may return it within 7 business days but you will need to pay all costs for the return shipping and packaging and it must be returned to me in the condition in which it was sold. If those conditions are not met to my satisfaction then you will not receive a refund. The refund will be for the purchase price less payment processing fees (approximately 4%).

For other artwork such as prints, cards, ornaments, and beadwork, all sales are final.

About Art

  • My art is currently available in my studio gallery in Colborne (Cramahe), Ontario, Canada. Occasionally I will have work available in public galleries which I will inform you of in my newsletter (see Join the Collector's Circle at the bottom of this page) and also on my blog.

  • Yes, contact me to arrange an appointment at my studio located just 90 minutes or so from Toronto.

  • Yes, however I have limited openings for commissions a year. I love to hear stories of your favourite place and how you connect with it. I will use your photos and stories to gain a feeling of your favourite place and I will paint it with those intentions. Please take a moment to review my past work so that you have an understanding of my painting style and subject matter.

Once we have had a short conversation via email, video chat or phone call (your preference) and I have looked at your photos I will send you a contract. I require non-refundable payment installments in thirds. The first before I begin the work, the second at the midway point, and the final payment when the painting is finished. I will send one or two progress photos at a midpoint in my painting to ensure you are happy with the direction it is taking before asking for the second installment. Once the painting is finished and dry I will contact you with a final photo, arrange payment and ship it to you.

More

  • I use professional archival materials for all of my paintings. I paint on a triple gessoe'd professional weight cotton canvas. My paintings are signed on the front and labelled on the back with their title, inventory number and my name. They are wired and ready to hang.

My acrylic paintings are always top coated to ensure an even finish. My oil paintings are not typically top coated as they must be dry and cured beforehand but if you’re willing to be patient, I can top coat it by request. I use Liquitex, TriArt and Golden acrylic paints and mediums. For oil paint and mediums I exclusively use Kama Pigments and Gamblin Artists Colors.

The environment matters to me so I am careful when I am working not to create too much waste and to use materials that I trust for my own health and safety.

  • Most of my collectors prefer to leave their painting unframed as I typically paint on a gallery edge canvas (thick edge) which gives the painting a more contemporary look. If you would like to frame a painting I would suggest you contact your local framer after receiving your painting.

  • Not at this time but I'm open to offers.
